The VE Calais features the High Output Alloytec V6 motor from the SV6 with a five-speed automatic gearbox, and stiff sports suspension. The Calais comes with everything that the VE has to offer and is the flagship of the Holden Commodore range. If you're after a luxury vehicle but can't afford, or don't want, the extremely luxurious long-wheelbase Statesman or Caprice models, the Calais is the one for you.
